Weddings and Light Set Up
Weddings!!I had a wonderful time photographing this lovely court house wedding for an Air Force couple. Here are some photos I took before the wedding took place.
I learned a lot about my Einstein E640 studio lights on this shoot. I love my studio lights and that they can be not only used in my studio, but also on locations. I would of not been able to utilize the ambient light coming into the window and get my subjects to be light up at the same time. I am very excited to continue to use my Einstein E640’s and continue to grow as a photographer.
For these shots I had my Einstein E640 with me to my left. I just used enough power to light up my subjects. I wanted the ambient light to shine in around my subject and give it a glowing effect. I think I succeeded and did a great job. I love using my Canon 5D Mark III. It is so much fun to use!!
Easter Experience
Holidays!!Even though easter has past I thought I’d share my experience with this years Easter mini’s that Opal Fire Photography had the pleasure of doing.
I got to use a bunny in a newborn shoot which I can’t resist to share with you all. Enjoy!
I had the pleasure of photographing my son, who loved every minute of the experience.
Next, I got to photograph a sweet little girl who brought her own bunny along. Which I thought was super cute.
I also had the opportunity to photograph a handsome little boy in the Opal Fire Studio.
All of these photo shoots were a lot of fun, however I did learn an important lesson. Never use a heavy pallet as a backdrop. It is dangerous and can be dangerous to me and my clients. Also, I need to take a breath and figure out why my equipment is not working with me. The solution was looking me in the face the whole time. It was very aggravating, but I am glad I figured it out.
This was an interesting and wonderful experience.
Have a wonderful Saturday.
